Evergreen Digital Showroom is pleased to offer one of the rarest Fox body Mustangs ever produced, the 1984 Ford Mustang GT-350.
The Ford Mustang has established itself as one of the most well-known names in the history of American automobiles. Introduced at the 1964 World's Fair in New York, the car has achieved iconic status over the course of time and continues today to be among the leading American sports cars.
While best known today as a performance car, Ford initially designed the Mustang as a vehicle targeted to the hundreds of thousands of women entering the workforce outside the home during the middle years of the 1960's. Ford executive Lee Iococca, recognized as the father of the Mustang, saw the need for such a car and championed the vehicle through the production process. However, the available V-8 engine also made the Mustang a car that combined light weight with power and ushered in a new era of performance.
The trend toward performance led the company to team up with racing legend Carroll Shelby, who was already involved with Ford's racing efforts. That partnership resulted in the GT-350 and GT-500 Mustangs that bore the Shelby name and unique Cobra badging. These vehicles today are highly sought after among collectors and investors, commanding top prices at major auction events.
In 1984, Ford Motor Company decided to revive the GT-350 nameplate for a limited production model commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Mustang. Ford had severed ties with Carroll Shelby several years earlier, making this the first and only GT-350 not produced in partnership with Shelby and his company. Claiming to still own the GT-350 name, Shelby filed a lawsuit against Ford over their use of the name and as result of the litigation the production run of the anniversary edition lasted a mere 35 days with the vast majority of the cars coming off the assembly line as 5.0L hardtops.
This 1984 Ford Mustang GT-350 is exceptionally rare in more than one way. While only a scant percentage of the production run were convertibles, this car is one of 104 convertibles to be powered with the turbocharged 2.3L four-cylinder motor! Adding to the rarity is the fact that this vehicle has been driven less than 4,000 miles since new. This well may be the rarest, lowest mileage example of a Fox body Mustang available today!
All 1984 GT-350 models shared a common paint and interior scheme with white bodies and a deep red interior, and this particular car is equipped with a white top. The special edition package also included halo bucket seats, the TRX suspension package which includes special wheels and tires and fog lights. Power from the turbocharged engine is transmitted through a five-speed manual transmission. While the speedometer reads a maximum of 85 miles per hour as per federal mandate at the time of production, this car is no slouch in the performance department and is an absolute blast to drive. This investment-quality ponycar would be a welcome addition to the stable of any serious Mustang collector or a one-of-a kind top down weekend cruiser.
The present owner has held this vehicle in his portfolio since 2006 and it has been stored in a humidity-controlled environment during his ownership. Shipping is available at buyer's expense. This may be your LAST and ONLY chance to own an exceptionally rare and collectible piece of Mustang history with less than 4,000 miles on the odometer! It's like buying a brand-new 1984 model car! After extensive research we cannot find a similar vehicle of this type with this incredibly low mileage anywhere in the country! Do not miss the opportunity to own this time capsule!

The cost of parts and restoration of vehicles in increasing almost daily. These are classics—they are not making any more and they become harder to find with each day that passes. Historically, classic and collectible vehicles have increased in value over time and been an excellent investment, typically appreciating at a higher rate than most other investment instruments as proven by numerous articles, records of private sales and auction tracking PLUS they provide a tangible asset that can be enjoyed every day. As with any investment, a positive return is not guaranteed and can be influenced by many factors.
GENERAL INFORMATION: We highly recommend prospective buyers personally inspect any vehicle they are considering purchasing. This is especially true when dealing with classic, collectible vehicles. While we are experienced in describing and assessing this type of vehicle, we can only look through our eyes and not the eyes of another person. We do not recommend attempting to drive one of these vehicles home! As a practical matter many of these vehicles have not been on anything resembling a long trip for years and should be thoroughly inspected, serviced and recommissioned before attempting a significant road trip. Virtually all of the vehicles we represent have a "clean" title. However, from time to time we do have vehicles that pre-date modern vehicle registration laws or for some reason do not have a title. In those cases the lack of a title will be disclosed in the vehicle description.
For additional information or questions regarding this disclosure, contact our team at 417-532-8000.

Delays beyond five business days will be handled on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Evergreen Digital Showroom. We encourage an inspection of the vehicle prior to placing a deposit.
NOTICE
Because of the number of vehicles we represent we cannot drive every vehicle for long distances. These vehicles have been part of static displays for long periods of time, in some cases for decades, and are subject to the flaws and imperfections consistent with that. While we do our best to disclose all issues we known about a vehicle in our advertising, these are old cars and something that has always worked in the past might not function properly today. Please check the requirements of your state regarding the licensing and registration of classic vehicles and make sure the vehicle you are looking at meets those if applicable. Unless otherwise noted, all vehicles represented by Evergreen Digital Showroom possess a clean (non-branded) title which will be provided the new buyer when purchase funds clear our financially institution. Virtually all of our vehicles are sold as mileage exempt due to their age. We do not warranty any vehicle, nor any part of the vehicle including air conditioning systems, brake systems, electrical systems and gauges, fuel systems, accessories or powertrain components.
These are old vehicles and it is very common for them to require certain maintenance and upkeep for them to be operational. In many cases issues with leaks may develop when being driven after a long period of not being used. This is common, as classic cars at some point will leak fluids. For this reason, we do not encourage buyers to attempt driving their purchase home as we cannot guarantee functional reliability of these vehicles. We strongly encourage prospective buyers to be sure they are comfortable with these issues before purchasing a classic car.
Descriptions of vehicles represented by Evergreen Digital Showroom are intended to be informational in nature and do not in any way constitute any sort of warranty, expressed or implied. Again, these vehicles are presented "as-is, where-is" without guarantee or warranty. Vehicles manufactured prior to 1981 will likely not be included in the databases of companies such as CarFax and AutoCheck that provide vehicle history information to consumers. If you have specific questions regarding a vehicle we urge you to contact us at 417-532-8000.
