1989 Ford Taurus SHO - Currant Red - Early Build 1988.

History: I purchased this car in Jul 2001 with 137,4000 miles. Currently shows 144,850. Car has always been stored in a garaged. I am the second owner. Has PA classic tags since 2004. This car has much potential and deserves a better life than I can give it. Car has not been driven in many years due to a seized engine. It spun a crank bearing.

Options: Package 211 which includes high level audio, floor mats, illuminated entry and auto lamp. Also has power antenna and power moonroof.

Exterior: This is non metallic, non clearcoat factory paint. No rust however there are various smaller dents here and there. The wheels are Paradyme Phanatik 17x7.0 with newer Michelins.

Interior: Interior is Titanium cloth originally. Currently installed are leather seats from a 1995 SHO, both power. The headliner is also from a 1995 but the fitment is molded differently at the rear window. It has new carpet and new floor mats. Interior is quit nice and very clean. It has an aftermarket Pioneer CD with Pioneer speakers in six locations.

Mechanical: As noted, the original engine spun a bearing. It will need replaced. All other mechanicals are factory, no modifications. It has a cable shift. Does not have a battery.

Conclusion:Car will need to be trailered. A perfect candidate to finish and enjoy or use as a show car. I'm reducing my vehicle collection and engaging in a new business venture. Unfortunately, I no longer have the time for the fun stuff. : ) I urge a personal inspection prior to purchase. I deal in NOS, new and used Taurus SHO parts, literature and collectibles.
