Description for Ford E-Series Van 1979
1979 Ford E250 Club Wagon 27,326 original miles 460 V8 (7.5L) -Dual fuel tank setup-Air ride rear suspension -Compressed air tank and pump onboard-After market tachometer -Dual train horns -After market cube lights upfront -Battery kill switch-CB radio (no antenna at this time)-Aftermarket electric field pump-Quad swivel Captains chairs -Third row bench that folds out into a queen size bed (approx size)There's probably a few other things I forgot
Has been garage kept for 39 years and is immaculate inside and out. The paint still looks like it rolled out of the factory a week ago and the inside smells exactly like the 80s. The engine was also supposedly bored out and trans built for towing when new, however I haven't confirmed this.
She runs and drives when the engine doesn't flood out but there is a flooding issue, once you get her to fire she runs rich. The metering block on the carb was changed out when the electric fuel pump was installed, a fuel regulator needs to be installed most likely. The air compressor doesn't seem to be building pressure. There are a few electrical gremlins I started tracking down but a few I haven't solved yet, the two I know of are the after market lights and blinkers. Outside of a few minor maintenance tasks this thing perfect.
