Description for Ford Mustang 1983
I am selling my rare 1983 Mustang GLX convertible with the 5.0 302 V8 and manual 5 speed transmission. A combination makes this a desirable and rare pony “ one of the rarest Foxbody Mustangs produced†My Mustang has 69,000 original miles and is a good looking daily driver, it dose have some minor cosmetic issues as well as a small rip in the convertible top that keep it from being a show car. This car has been my daily driver for the past year and has been very reliable and does surprisingly well on fuel mileage. It has a Weiand intake and Holley vacuum secondary 4bbl carburetor as well as a mild cam, the exhaust sounds good thanks to the dual flow master mufflers that give it a nice sound without being really loud. The car has hand crank windows that all work, and the car does not have A/C. The power convertible top works great. I have done quite a lot of maintenance to the car including a new clutch, fresh power steering line, rebuilt steering rack, tie rods, new front tires, new battery and more. It also has an aftermarket head unit with bluetooth and aux as well as new Blaupukt speakers. I also have the original owners Manual and original license tag. I am being as honest as possible about the cars condition so please look at the photos carefully before bidding, the top does have a couple small rips and the paint does have some blemishes. The car could also use a new headlight switch, the lights do work but the switch has to be finessed in order to get them to stay on. This car is being sold as is without any warranty due to the age. I do not have any paperwork on the repairs as I did them myself and hadn't intended to sell the car, but I have another project I am working on now so I am letting this one go to a new home. Again please be certain that you can purchase the car before bidding, the $500 deposit will be due within 24 hours of close of sale and will not be refundable. This car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early up to the point of bidding closing. Please feel free to message me with any questions. I have a clean clear title in my name in hand.
