Description for Ford F-100 1964

This is a 1964 Ford F100 Styleside Short Bed Pickup with the Big Back Window. 71,779 Original Miles. The truck is very solid with very minimal rust. Doors, Floors, Fenders Rockers and Cab are very solid. There is minimal rust just starting on the bottoms of the cab corners, The bottoms of the bedsides behind the wheel openings and the front of the bed floor just where it meets the front bed panel. The truck has minor dents and dings, but no major damage. Interior is complete. The original bench seat needs upholstery, but the Frame, springs and tracks are in good condition. Original Fuel Tank and fuel system have been cleaned. Door Panels are inside the cab as well as a few other parts including new hood hinges, brake booster, and a 4-speed trans steering column. The new column is to replace the current 3-speed column since the truck now has a Lokar Shifter to control the C-5 Auto trans. Fresh Hi-Po 289 that was rebuilt at the same time as the C5 Automatic and has no miles but has been sitting for awhile. Has a really nice-sounding dual exhaust system. The brake master cylinder is included, but will need to be installed before the truck can be driven. It will also need a battery. I am open to getting the truck running, driving and road-worthy prior to shipping for appropriate compensation. The electrical and accessories all work well. Truck has New performance tires and custom built steel wheels with vintage, original Ford moon caps. I bought this truck along with 3-others from an elderly man who just ran out of time for all of his projects. It was my intention to keep it and put the finishing touches on it once I had my shop completed, but I need the funds for my shop. If you have questions about the truck, feel free to ask, I will answer them promptly and honestly. I reserve the right to end this auction early, as the truck is also for sale locally. Thanks for Looking.
