Description for Ford E-Series Van 1991
Hello, this listing is for a 1991 Ford E350 cab and chassis Econoline Van as-shown. This started out life as a motorhome, but the camper portion was damaged at some point and removed. It has just under 65,000 original miles. This has the 7.5 liter 460 EFI V8 and Automatic Transmission with Overdrive. I bought this a few months ago with the intention of putting together a cheap box truck for my business, however my wife lost her battle with cancer October 4th and now I just don`t have nearly as much time as I did before, too many projects, and a 3-year old son to take care of. So priorities are in my way now.In honor of my wife, 20% of the sale price will be automatically donated to The American Cancer Society. Cancer Sucks,it really does.
The body and interior are in very good shape overall. The Air Conditioning works, so does the heat. All lights work. Tires are in good shape. It has an aftermarket extra capacity fuel tank. There is 16.5-ft from the back of the cab to the end of the frame.
The rear brakes will need new shoes. I drove this 1-1/2 hrs home when I bought it, and at about halfway the lining came loose from the brake shoes on the driver`s rear and started smoking. To get myself home I had to pull the drum off and remove the lining from the left rear shoes. The brakes still work, but because of the loss of pedal travel you need to "anticipate stopping". Other than that I had no issues driving it home. It has now been parked since Oct 4th.
This would make a great candidate for a ramp truck, or a perfect donor vehicle for a vintage COE truck.
It has a good Indiana Title. I would like it paid for within 5-days and picked up within 2-weeks. There is truly No Reserve on this. Whatever it sells for it sells for. If I loose money so be it. Deposit via PayPal due within 24-hours unless other arrangements are made. Located in Lombard, IL 60148.
