Description for Ford Other Pickups 1939
1939 Ford 1.5 Ton Commercial Sunclair truck. This truck has been a part of our family. We have enjoyed it at many car shows in our area. We are selling due to our time constrains with our kids school and sports. We only used the truck 4 times last year. This truck is stored in a climate controlled building. Temperature and Humidity are monitored. The truck has beem completely gone through. It had a frame off restoration in the late 90`s. Drives great for a 80 year old commercial truck.Status of truck:
Engine Flathead v8 only a few thousands miles since rebuilt. No oil usage runs great
Transmission 4 speed with granny rebuilt. Original no syncro`s
Brakes completley gone through. All original hydraulic. Has manual parking. Stops quickly due to oversized commercial drums.
Body is driver quality. It does have wear and tear from being a 20 year old paint job, but is very sharp. I have competed in many shows.
Steering tight
Suspension tight
Exhaust is quiet
Bed is White Oak. It is custom made. The barrels can be removed easily.
Electrical original6volt equipment everything works as it should. Starts right up. Charges correctly. Battery isonly a year old.Truck does have turn signals installed. Original truck only had one taillight.
Interior has new door covers and seat recovered.
I have a flexible work schedule. If you are interested in seeing the truck please shoot me a message through Ebay messages and Ill get back to you as soon as possible.
I have a video of the truck running that I will post on youtube.com soon. Please search 1930 Ford Sinclair Truck.
