Description for Ford Mustang 1989

Up for sale is my 1989 Fox Body coupe 5.0 Mustang with 25,000 original miles and a five speed transmission. I have wanted one since 1990, when I had my last one. I bought this car about 2 years ago and have added approximately1000 miles to it. When it came to me, it went straight to my mechanic for "whatever it needs" and I spent about $1000 on it, the most expensive thing being the pesky fuel filler problem common to these cars. Anything that needed attention at that time was done, including the usual fluid/filter changes.
This car was trailered from NE GA to Charlotte for the 55th Anniversary of Mustang. This car participatedin the world record attempt at the "longest parade of Mustangs". I also got to drive it on the track for a couple of laps!!! I can tell you that this car runs and drives like a go-cart!! Its very fast (all stock) and handles like a new car. The AC is cold and the heat is hot. The interior is perfect, zero cracks, rips or tears ... the headliner is perfect as are the carpets. It has a set of new OEM floormats. All VIN stickers are present where they should be and the paint is shiny and without flaws. The tires are 90%. The glass and outside trim are in great shape. The windows are tinted.
I had the outside of the car detailed last week, and it really looks like new (the inside needed zero). My detailer said that he thought the decklid (ONLY) had been pained at some time in the past. AGAIN, there are no paint lines anywhere on the car and all VIN stickers are present. Other items to note: At some point someonethought it would be a good idea to paint the "MUSTANG" on the frontand rear bumpers grey to match the interior. It looks fine, but is not original (and a super easy fix) ... see the photos. The horn and the cruise are inop, I just noticed this this am and will try and have it fixed by then of the auction. This car is really nearly perfect, but I want you to know exactly what your getting. I would take very little to make this car a show dog 100 pt car. I am selling it because I am making room and thinning my collection.

I can not add any more pictures, but I do have the original window sticker, all books and manuals, and the metal ford plate with option codes and the original (woman's) name on the back ...!!! GA ORIGINAL MILES title is in my name personally ......
