For auction is a 1959 Ford F100 Panel truck.This is a custom cab model. Very few panels were made in 59 as custom cab models. My plan was to build a 60s era shop truck. Due to health issues, I find myself unable to complete the build. I will divide my description into separate categories.BODY: No body mods have been made since purchased 14 months ago. Prior owner installed RV type windows in the panel sides. These have been removed, (but available if wanted). Metal has been cut and screwed (not welded), in place to give the full panel look back to the truck. Roof vent was added on top. Don't know if roof rack is stock or not, but I like the look of it. No major dents on body panels, hood or fenders. Does need repair where fenders mount in front of doors on each side. Front windshield is broken, a new one is included, but has to be installed. Door glass is good on front and rear cargo doors.INTERIOR: Inside has been stripped of old wood paneling and fiberglass insulation, (a former shaggin wagon). I installed foam to the walls and ceiling and covered that with foil backed insulation, makes a world of difference! Padded bench seats cover both wheel wells. Speakers are in front and rear of benches. 2008 Camry bucket are included, ( you must install). New AM/FM/CD stereo is in the glove box. Driver side floor needs replacing. New pans for both front sides are included, as well as new under floor braces, but not installed.DRIVE TRAIN: Original 223 six cylinder and 3 speed trans are out. Current engine is a 1970 Ford 302 that is now a fully rebuilt long block, including heads and a performer cam upgrade. Engine is set in with new tubular cross member from CPP. Same company provided the tubular cross member to mount the C4 trans included. Engine has been detailed and installed as received from engine shop. It can be transported as it sits in the frame. Other than engine and trans swap, the running gear is all stock! C4 trans is not in the truck.NEW PARTS INCLUDED IN SALE: Weiand Stealth intake manifold, chrome Holley 600 carb, aluminum valve ribbed valve covers, oil pan, air cleaner and breathers.Chrome alternator brackets, fuel pump,thermostat housing and fan pulley. HEI distibutor, coil and 8mm wire set. 21 circuit wiring harness, aluminum radiator, power brake booster and master cylinder, front replacement windshield, new flexplate. May have left out something, I have been buying parts for a year now. Have over $2500 in the engine rebuild and engine parts alone.PLEASE REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING: The front sheet metal was removed for the engine and has not been reinstalled. I will need at least a 3 day notice to set it back on on for transport prior to buyer picking up the truck.
