Description for Ford Mustang 1969

This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is finished in Candy Apple Red, and it is powered by a 351 Windsor V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes Magnum 500-style 14″ wheels, SportSlats rear window louvers, a Kenwood stereo system, and front and rear spoilers. The car was originally ordered through the Magic City Motors Corp in Roanoke, VA and produced on 12/01/68.
It was acquired a year ago by agentleman named Mike Stallone who built an award winning Chevelle which you can learn more about him here:

But he bought it close to the condition that it is in now but never got around to making it into a restomod/pro-tourer and was selling to focus on building bigger turbos for the Chevelle above. I was told that a previous owner in the 90's had the restoration done by a shop in Pennsylvania but got it re-done in the Candy Apple Red instead the Indian Fire Red.

When I bought it, it had squishy brakes & a leak from the gear selector seal. After replacing the MC, fuel pump and the seal, it is as road-ready as it gets. All service records are from Modern Motorcars in Springfield, MO or from the previous owner Mike.

Magnum 500-style wheels measure 14″ in diameter and are mounted with 215/70 Cooper Cobra Radial G/T raised white letter tires. Braking is handled by original front and rear drums with front & rear sway bar to keep you hugging the turns.
Inside, the high-back front buckets and rear bench seat are upholstered in black vinyl with Clarion knit inserts and red stripes complemented by simulated wood trim on the doors, dashboard, and center console. Black carpets are accented by red vinyl floor mats up front, and additional equipment includes a Sport Deck fold-down rear seat. Has a Kenwood stereo-system but the radio unit is faulty (has power but doesn't function) and the dashboard-mounted clock does not work.
The original wood-rimmed steering wheel frames factory instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer as well as oil pressure and amperage gauges, and a Sun tachometer is affixed to the steering column. Supplementary coolant temperature and voltage gauges are mounted in the ashtray location. The five-digit odometer shows just under 13,000k miles. All the dash and interior lights work as expected with absolutely no shorts or faults to speak of (besides the radio). All exterior lights (headlights, turn signals, brake & reverse lights etc.) work as they should as well as the turn signals that are on the hood scallop facing the cockpit.
