Description for Ford Mustang 1965
This is a great car! It is a bit of a project that has stalled out. Loads of new parts but I need to make room in the garage. It runs and drives, but needs its brakes finished being rebuilt before being road worthy. I have a new master cylinder and wheel cylinders to install, however the drums are new at all 4 corners. Comes with everything needed to rebuild the front suspension as well - new sway bar end links, new tie rod set, new lower control arms, new upper ball joints and more. The interior has been refreshed and upgraded to include a Bluetooth stereo with integrated iPad for GPS and Streaming audio. The driver seat has heat elements inside, just need hooked up to a switch. I also have a new set of passenger seat covers and the heater element for it too, so your new vintage mustang will have HEATED SEATS! Fenders have been cut to accommodate the larger wheels and tires. Looks amazing. It’s been sitting and so it’ll need the oil changed, which is included. Various other parts come along with the car too, they are all in the trunk along with a car cover. The only rust on the car is in the lower driver side frame rail, but a replacement frame rail comes with the car and is ready to be installed. Too much new stuff to list... overall a very cool car. It has a clean title. Again, this is a nearly completed project that needs to go. I’m into this car more than my starting price, so my loss is truly your gain. Lastly, this car is begging for a v8. That would be the next step... but I never did it because this Straight 6 runs like a top and I just wanted to enjoy the car. Thanks for looking. On Dec-22-20 at 10:12:43 PST, seller added the following information:
After a few questions, I wanted to add a little more detail.1. The car is not currently road worthy, meaning you cannot fly in and drive it home. It will need to be transported. I am happy to work with the buyer to find a transport company, and would be willing to store the car for a short time to accommodate that. Please work with me to make these arrangements before auction end.2. New parts that have all been recently installed are as follows: Fuel pump, fuel and air filters, battery, spark plugs, lowering blocks, shocks at all 4 corners, carpet, dash cover, door panels and clips, steering wheel cover, back dash board, kick panels, driver seat upholstery (passenger one is also included but not installed), Kenwood CD player, iPad, speakers, Ignition switch, Ignition tumbler w/ key, wheels spacer adaptors, radiator, radiator hoses, electric fan (needs wired in), as well as random clips, cables, etc.3. New parts that are included but not installed are as follows: Rear driver frame rail, rear driver quarter lower patch panel (notice dent in pics), new sway bar end links, new tie rod set, lower control arms, new upper ball joints, passenger seat upholstery, passenger seat heated element, quarts of oil and filter, gallon of antifreeze, various other odds and ends.4. The decals and stickers/stripes CAN be removed. They are not painted on, thus can be removed should you want to go a different route with the car.5. This car is still a project. Yes it is nearly done and looks complete, there are a few things yet to be done as stated above.6. The car is "wide-bodied" and sits roughly 4 inches wider than a stock 65/66 coupe. Not easy to tell from the angles in the photos, but those flares stick out and the wheels are mounted on spacers. Looks amazing.7. Yes I can answer any questions and take photos of anything you'd like to see better or closer up. These were taken in the evening and yes, I realize they are not the greatest shots by any means. They do not do the car justice.8. The car is sold as-is. Ask questions before bidding and if you're the lucky winner - congratulations on your new toy!
