87 Sharp 1987 Ford T-Bird Thunderbird Turbo Coupe 5-Speed Owned Almost 25 Years!

I purchased this car from the original owner in 1999. The turbo went out, so he quit driving it. I bought it, had the turbo rebuilt, gave it a new paint job, and did some interior work. It has power steering, power brakes, power sun roof, gray leather interior, dual power mirrors, dual power seats, 5-speed manual transmission, a near NOS shift knob, and only 98k on the clock.

The original shocks were replaced with aftermarket units, so the “Ride Control” light flashes. The sun roof moves kind of slow and the AC belt has been removed. The original radio has been upgraded to a nice Pioneer unit. The car runs great and is a blast to drive.

I didn't take it out in the winters, just in the summer time, so the car has never been rusty. I tried to show some “bad” spots where I could. For example, look at the top of the ¼ panel below the T-Bird emblem in the eighth picture. There is a series of small dents. I have no idea where they came from, but wanted to point them out. My son used the car for a while during his senior year in college, so it does have some imperfections here and there from being driven every day. It is not a trailered show car, but it does clean up really well. Just check out the pics and see what you think.
