This 1993 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra is finished in black over Opal Gray leather and powered by a 302ci V8 mated to a five-speed manual transmission and Traction-Lok differential. Modifications include Steeda lowering springs, KYB shocks, Maximum Motorsports rear lower control arms, an aluminum radiator and driveshaft, an MSD ignition coil, and a Flowmaster exhaust system. Additional equipment consists of 17″ cast-aluminum wheels, power-assisted disc brakes, power steering, a rear spoiler, air conditioning, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a sunroof. The car spent time in New Jersey and New York before it was acquired out of Texas by the seller in March 2021. This SVT Cobra shows 37k miles and is offered with manufacturer’s literature, a Ford SVT Certificate of Authenticity, a clean Carfax report, spare parts, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.

The SVT Cobra was equipped with a revised rear spoiler, unique badging, and bumper covers that differentiated it from the contemporary Mustang GT. This example is finished in black, and additional exterior features include fog lights, a sunroof, an antenna blanking plate, and dual exhaust outlets. The left exhaust tip extends further out than the right, and there are small rock chips on the hood and front fascia.

Factory Directional 17″ cast-aluminum wheels are wrapped in brand new 245/45 Falken Azenis RT615K+ tires showing 2022 date codes with only 2 miles on them. The car is equipped with power steering and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with cross-drilled and slotted rotors. Maximum Motorsports rear lower control arms are installed, and the suspension has been lowered using Steeda lowering springs and KYB shocks.

The cabin features articulated sport seats and a 50/50 split-folding rear bench trimmed in Opal Gray leather. A Hurst shifter is reportedly installed, and additional interior equipment includes a power-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks. A radio blanking plate has been added, and the seller notes that a Bluetooth-capable stereo is hidden beneath the center console. The ashtray door hinge is broken, and there is a small nickel size puncture in the passenger seat cushion.

The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges displaying coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 37k miles, approximately 350 of which have been added by the seller.

The fuel-injected 302ci V8 features a Cobra-specific upper intake manifold and camshaft as well as a 65mm throttle body, GT40 cast-iron cylinder heads, and aluminum roller rockers. Modifications added under prior ownership include an MSD ignition coil, a Pro-M mass airflow sensor, and an aluminum radiator. The seller notes that an aftermarket clutch cable, quadrant, and firewall adjuster package have also been fitted. The original radiator, front brakes, radio and antenna, ring and pinion, and emissions components are included in the sale. A new 3g alternator is also included if the new owner would like to do the 3g swap (recommend).

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok differential that is said to be equipped with 3:73:1 gearing. An aluminum driveshaft is installed along with subframe connectors and a Flowmaster cat-back exhaust system with an aftermarket H-pipe. The emissions components have been removed from the engine but come with the car.

Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale along with a Ford Special Vehicle Team certificate that identifies this car as #4,243 of 4,933 examples built.
