This truck has been pain stakingly fixed, renewed, replaced, over the last 12+ years that I have owned it. And it is as close to the way it came from Ford as I could get it.. the cab is a 196, all the rest is 1970.. it came to me with the plow accessories and I replaced, repaired, renewed that to it's original state.. the 360 motor is 1973 completely gone through. Heads, bearing, rings, to spec. Exhaust valve seats have been upgraded to accept unleaded fuel. The original motor is still intact and available.. All 5 the original 16" wheels and 4 tires are available. The 1970 donor truck I am using for parts is available. This truck cannot go to the gas station with out drawing a gathering of folks looking and enjoying the beauty of my truck.. my 1970 f-100 4x4 plow truck is currently RETIRED. And is just for show.. this is not a Barrett Jackson type truck but it is very nice. The current hub caps are not correct for 1970 but the truck looks better with them then with none.. with care and upkeep I don't see why this 52 year old truck should not get to 102 years old one day..
