This beautiful, very rare low miles (20,000) Moss Green,1967 Mustang Shelby GT500is a wonderful specimen of this legendary car from Carol Shelby's factory in Los Angeles. This investment grade car is registered in the Shelby registry and has some incredible ownership history including Pro Wrestler and TV Personality Bill Goldberg and Steve Davis, principal of Barrett Jackson. This gem is powered by the numbers matching 428 engine with the original dual quad 600 CFM Holley carbs and comes equipped with rare factory air conditioning. According to the registry, only 69 of the 1967 GT500 Shelbys were delivered with A/C. This Shelby also comes loaded with power steering, power disc brakes, 10 spoke aluminum wheels, traction lock rear end, independent front suspension, roll bar, Hotchkiss rear suspension, extra cooling fan, oil cooler, folding rear set, instrument cluster, the original wood rim steering wheel and front seat shoulder harness all from the factory. Apparently the hood was originally delivered with vents so the hood is not original to the car.
As you might have imagined this car has been featured in a few magazines including an expose on Goldberg’s collection of muscle cars in Muscle Car Review. The paint and the upholstery are in excellent condition as is the engine and C6 transmission. The engine underwent a complete rebuild when it was owned by Goldberg . This Shelby comes complete with all its ownership title history and receipts from many of the owners including Goldberg. She was completed at the LA Shelby factory on 7/24/1967 and was delivered to Marv Tonkin Ford in Portlan Oregon 8/6/1967. Car comes with the original Marti Report and Shelby registry documentation..
