This is a very well-built hot rod. It is easy and comfortable to drive. The driver’s door has an electric pop to release and open. The passenger door has a latch located under the step. Rear trunk door is electric, open, and close from the interior dash.
I don’t know much about this car. I was selling a vehicle online and approached by the owner of this car, asking to trade. I made the trade a few weeks ago and thought my wife would love this car, she did not! She hates the color and has no interest in riding or driving in it. My buddies love it and my boys (18 and 22) both said, “the more we see it, the more we like it”. Every time I drive it, I get thumbs up and complements, but I’m not going to keep as car that my wife is not excited about (she wants an older Bronco)
It starts right up and has that 383 Stroker rumble. The engine is solid, more power than you would need. At 20 mph it will easily break traction when you accelerate.
The paint is an 8 or 9. Body lines are perfect, and paint is very high quality. The only reason I can’t say the paint is a 10 is because it has a couple chips in the paint that can easily be touched up.
I have driven the car several times over the past few weeks, let it idle for long periods of time, ran it up to a speed that was respectable and had zero issues.
The car is in New Braunfels Texas, between San Antonio and Austin. You are welcome to come and see / drive before you bid. I would have no reservation about driving it a long distance.
All that said, I have no idea what this car is worth, I don’t imagine you could build it for less than 40K. (Probably much higher than that) Since I don’t know what it’s worth, I am setting the auction at No Reserve. The high bidder will win this car regardless of if that bid is $5,000 or $50,000. No gimmicks! I will take whatever I get and start shopping for a Bronco, Corvette, Camaro, Mustang, 4x4 Pickup, something that is reliable, looks good and my wife will appreciate as much as I do.
I would consider a trade, but it would be a bit tricky with a no-reserve auction. If you have something you want to offer as a trade, you can message me. If we agree to the trade we can agree to a value of your vehicle, then you can bid on this car and I will give you credit for your trade, whatever we agree to in advance. If you trade is worth more, I will pay the difference. If your trade is worth less I, I will credit you for what its value is and you can pay the difference between that value and your winning bid.
Send me a message if you want more pics. I will try to get some undercarriage pics and I can send a video if you wish.
If you win and want to fly into San Antonio Airport, I will pick you up and you can drive it home.
HIGH BID WINS!! NO RESERVE!!
