Here we have for sale is a 1937 Ford Full Custom Roadster Phaeton. This car has been built by a local Hot Rod Builder that just doesn’t have the time to finish it and just needs to sell. I couldn’t possibly list all the details this car has. If serious I will put you in touch with the builder and he can answer all of your questions. The start of the build is a full TCI custom chassis. All suspension components are fully polished stainless steel. 4 wheel Wilwood disk brakes. 11” Dynalite 4 piston polished up front. 12” Dynalite 4 piston polished rear brakes with parking brake system installed. Brake lines are made and will be included. Rear end is a 9” Ford rear. Has 3.25 open gears. It has the air bag set up for the rear end installed. The front still has the new polished adjustable coil-overs. Plan was to switch the front to the new shockwaves. It has rack and pinion steering with a polished flaming river adjustable tilt column. Motor mounts are set up for a small block Chevy or an LS motor. Trans mounting is set for a 700R4. Custom gas tank from Rock Valley installed. 20 gallon stainless tank with in tank pump set up for the fuel injection. The chassis is riding on Custom built wheels from Boyd Coddington. 17” X 7” up front. 20” X 9.5” in the rear. The chassis is well built and will be an awesome drive when complete.
The body is fully custom built by the builder. All steel. Bodywork all completed and basically ready for paint color of your choice. There are more than 150 body mods done that make this is car an incredible build. I couldn’t possibly name them all. You might see or notice most of the mods if you know what your looking at. Custom grille, lowered and frenched headlights, suicide doors. Trunk opens sideways for ease of access. Rounded and widened wheel openings. Fenders molded and sectioned. Front fenders fitted to stream line into running boards. Has a factory Duval windshield with matching wood bow for the top. Custom dash with one center gauge cluster for a clean look. Custom billet hood hinges tucked in to the roadster cowl and firewall. There is a ton of money and time into this build. It was going to be featured in some of the top custom builder shows. Time and life gets in the way. My loss is your gain. Won’t take much to finish. I am listing the car for a family friend that built every piece on the car.
