Description for Ford F-150 1994
Up for sale is an exceptionally nice and beautiful 1994 Ford F-150 XL with the Limited Edition Package and an 8 feet bed. This is 2 owner truck. It is powered by a Ford 5.0 EFI Engine with a 5 speed manual transmission. It has a cold air conditioner and the heater works well too.It has a recent new master clutch cylinder, a new master brake cylinder, and new rear main seal. (Remind me to provide documentation of this recent work upon purchase). It also is equipped with an Alpine AM/FM/CD radio (with a removable face plate). This truck is fun to drive and always gets attention when out running errands. Most people comment about how pretty the paint job is and always want to know who painted it. It's fun to say, "it's the original factory paint job". I really hate to sell it but my financial situation has forced to me take this step. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer mid 1990's truck (any manufacturer) in this condition. The 8 feet bed with the Limited Edition Package makes hauling items a breeze.
The truck is not perfect but it's very close to it. On the passenger bed, there is a dent where a log rolled down and did some damage. It would be an easy fix. It doesn't bother me as I have used the truck around my cattle farm so I never addressed it. I tried to get a picture of it but its hard to see in a picture. Sometimes, the ABS Brake Sensor light on the dash will come on and go off after a while. I have no idea why it does that as the brake pads are fairly new and as stated above the master brake cylinder was recently replaced. Also, I'm pretty sure the brake fluid was flushed out in the last year. I am guessing the red dash light is signaling due to a bad or dirty sensor on one or more of the wheels.
After I had the master clutch put it, the truck seems to have a little miss. I am thinking the mechanic damaged one of the spark plug wires. Again, not a big deal as the truck moves along with confidence. The engine is strong and reliable. A new set of plug wires would probably get it back to as good as new. There is no rust on the body and the bed is in good shape. There are as dings and scratches that you would expect from a truck that has been used "as a truck". As far as I know, this truck has not been driven in any harsh winter conditions and always lived in a southern climate. With continuance of good care this truck should last a long while.I try to take great care of my vehicles and this F150 XL is no exception. The last vehicle I sold (2013 Toyota FJ Cruiser) was placed in a private car museum in KY and it sold for nearly double what that vehicle cost brand new. I'm a strong proponent of taking care of anything that I own and the subsequent owner(s) of my vehicles are the beneficiary. I hope the new owner of this vehicle will continue to maintain it well and give it the love that it has seen since it rolled off of the factory assembly line.
With the buy it now price, I will include a set of 4 tires and wheels that came with the truck when I bought it. The former owner gentlemen chose to put mud tires on it during the winter months and reverted to normal tires during the summer. I never put the normal tires on it as I liked the higher traction tires at all times, especially working around here at the ranch. As with any vehicle purchase, it is best to inspect them in person. You are encouraged and welcome to come see this in person as this is sold "as is" with no warranty implied. If a personal inspection is not possible, I have tried to give you an honest and forthright description from what I know about it so that you can bid with confidence.Let me know if you have any questions or need further information.Good luck!
