Description for Ford Mustang 1968

Must sell due the disability.
Rebuilt 289 w/ 1980's O.E. Mustang aluminum 4V intake & Holley 4V carburetor. Recent fuel pump. Runs & drives but hasn't been driven regularly in a while, probably could use a tune up.
Do not know if mileage is accurate, 29,898 SHOWING. 229,898 believed to be the ACTUAL mileage.
Originally built & sold in California, unknown how long it has been on the east coast.
My son and I added Tri-Y headers & true dual exhaust w/ welded style Thrush mufflers (& correct floorpan reinforcements inside, under the backseat, for the muffler hangers).
American Racing Torque Thrust-D wheels and Mickey Thompson tires.
Clearcoat is peeling off, don't know if it was improperly applied or if it can be buffed and repaired. Car was originally Acapulco blue w/ matching interior. Interior was changed to white, then someone STARTED changing it to black w/ new black headliner, etc. I added a good used black backseat (fronts are still white). I added new black; dash pad, lower dash pad [piece above the glovebox & radio] & A-pillar pads. I painted the inside of doors black (they had them orange).
Pioneer CD player & 4 speakers (front speakers are in custom kick panels) & power antenna.
Pop-open gas cap [has a '67 style emblem, just because I liked it better than the '68 emblem].
Sequential LED turn signal indicators in stock location in hood vents. Sequential LED turn signals in stock taillight housings.
Power steering hose is leaking, so I removed belt. New hose included.
Whatever other new parts I have on hand, but haven't installed yet, will also be included; emblems, windshield washer parts, some weatherstripping, etc.
Car was in decent shape last time I was able to get under it. 54 year old car (really 55, because it was built September 1967 - early in the '68 model year), NO guarantees expressed or implied. Described to the best of my ability. Typical rust under battery tray, probably other spots as well.
$500 non-refundable deposit due upon completion of auction. Remainder of winning sale price to be paid by check or money order within 10 days of close of auction. I will give my bank as much time as they need to confirm it is good, then & only then will I release the car. I HAVE BEEN BURNED BEFORE!
Local pick-up only. Buyer arranges & pays shipping. I have a fairly open schedule so I can be readily available when you send shipper.
