Description for Ford F250 1976
Vehicle DetailsRare 1976 Ford F250 Crew Cab. Runs and drives great. Too many things have been done to the truck to list but here are some of the main ones.
Suspension: 16” coilovers in the front. Hydraulic bump stops all around. 4 link suspension in the rear with axle truss and cantilever coilover system. Sway bar in the front. Autofab coil buckets, I beams, extended radius arms, extended brake lines etc. Eibach coils. Limit straps.
Steering: electric power steering with adjustable dial. Redhead steering gear.
Transmission: 6 speed automatic 6r80 with Lokar shifter. It came out of a 2011 Ford f-150. New driveline and u joints. US Shift quick 6 contoller.
Tires and wheels: 35x12.5r16 equivalent. General Grabber ATX.
Lund visor with lights and Lund rear bumper. Led headlights. 32 gallon rear gas tank. New mirrors, locks, fuel lines, gas tank, msd distributor, edelbrock carb, and a whole lot more.
Tmi split bench seat. 60/40 Reclines and goes back and forth.
Locks work, windows work, tailgate works, all lights, wipers, stereo, heat.
The rust on the vehicle appears to mostly all be surface rust, which is the reason I bought it. I did not do the body work on the truck. Needs to be painted and window/door seals should be replaced.
No problem driving this truck. I’ve done 3 hour trips in it no problem. The 6 speed transmission means that it will cruise 70 down the freeway no problem. Starts every time. Doesn’t over heat, even in traffic.
I love this truck. It’s been a major part of my life for the last few years. I never planned on selling it and have been setting it up exactly like I wanted a truck that I would keep forever. Then I had a daughter and you probably know the rest of the story.
