1981 F-150 custom for sale.

It’s rare to find one in this condition.

Period correct build some right with tasteful upgrades.

The paint and body is original and in great condition. No rust on the cab, no rust on floors or the frame. The paint shines nice and has nice patina.

The wood in the bed has been replaced and it’s in great condition.

Lockable storage Jobox in the bed, great to store tools and other valuables.

New KC light bar with 5 chrome housing lights, wired properly with relay and inline fuse. The switch is inside the cabin near the headlight switch.

True 400 engine not a 351/400M. The engine was built by Eckman Machine shop with Comp cams. The C6 transmission custom built by Western transmission to match the high horsepower. The C6 is equipped with a full manual valve body.

The engine was dynoed at 372 hp and 460 tq.

Holley off-road truck avenger carburetor.

MSD ignition

Solid front axle conversion from a 1979 Bronco with OX cable locker Dana 45 30 spline. Detroit auto locker in the 9” rear with 4:56 gears and stronger axles.

New 37” Maxxis tires including the spare mounted on new 15x10 steelies made by US Wheels.

Other notable upgrades as follows:

1345 transfer case. Mosser axles. 3/4 ton tie rod and drag link. Cage radius arms. Champion 4 core aluminum radiator with extra pusher fan. Custom 8-quart oil pan with center sump Melling oil pump.

Period correct Mile Marker hydraulic winch works great, comes with remote.

Dual gas tanks

The interior is nice and tidy. Upholstery on the seat had been redone, good carpet and door cards.

Door jamb weather seals replaced.

Original steering wheel and working radio.

Additional gauges added to monitor oil pressure, volt meter, secondary gas tank gauge, and temperature along with a steering column mounted RPM gauge.

Hat holder on the headliner.

Two gun racks on the rear windshield.

Working heater and fresh air.

Working windshield wipers, turn signals and lights.

The engine and transmission are new builds with about 600 miles. The rest like differentials, transfer case, brakes, hubs etc. have 5,000 miles on them.

The truck runs and drives great. Cruises easily at 65-70mph on the highway. Real head turner anywhere you go. The engine sounds great, no leaks or smoke. 4x4 works great!

I have a binder full of receipts and some extra parts that go with the truck. Like a set of 15x8 alloy wheels, C6 automatic valve body and other misc things.

Clean title and current registration.
