UP FOR AUCTION:My very restorable 1967 Fairlane Ranchero. This is a ONE YEAR ONLY body style based on arguably one of the best looking production years of the Fairlane. History: We Purchased this car in approx 1994. It was a Kentucky car previous to us owning it and was very clean. We never drove it in the winters. In 1998 it was in a 30MPH or so collision on the passenger side. That was the last time car was on the road. The car has a SLIGHTLY BENT DOOR POST on Passenger Side. We took it to a professional frame shop in our area and they assured us it was easily fixable if we could source a door. They straightened it enough to hang a door. but said they could never get it exact without a new door. It did not bend window pillar or crack windshield. Parts weren't so easy to source back then and it took us 2 years to find a good door. Meanwhile I bought an old Falcon and sorta sidelined fixing the car until we built our barn. Unfortunately by then I was pouring money into restoring my Falcon and so the Ranchero sat. 2 Years ago I came across a Ranchero that was everything I ever wanted and just bought it (LAST PICTURE) and I don't need Ranchero Bookends. As of this posting we have lost the ability to store this and several other cars (also for sale on EBAY) and it needs to be sold. It is sitting outside for the first time in a long time and I NEED to see it go to a good home. I have all but driver door and fender to replace in great shape. Chrome work around bed is good core for restoration. All the straight pieces are very good. the cast corner pieces need replated (as they always do). I have all the window stainless in good shape. The grill and headlight bezels are in great shape. The bumpers are straight cores for rechrome. I have tail lights that are restorable. but they are hard to come by so if the winner wants he can make an offer on them seperately. Glass All there none broke or foggedFloor Pans Needs driver and passenger front floor pans. The rest of the underside of the car is very solid as is the bed floor. Suspension Passnger side has new spindle and control arms from PST. Otherwise suspension is original style with complete power steering that was functional when parkedDrivetrain 302 ford motor. No Intake or Carb. Hood latch is froze and I don't want to bend anything on the hood. so I cant verify condition of motor so at this point I am assuming it needs rebuilt. c4 automatic with floor shift (Not Original Floor Shift. but done correctly and shifter works properly. trans shifted and functioned fine when parked). Complete 8" or 9" rearend 3. 00:1 open diffWiring The car's electrical system worked fine when last driven with no gremlins or light issues. Interior No seats. I still haven't found the dash. but I have it somewhere. It was in need of restoration anyway though. It has been painted like the rest of the dash trim. I also have the heater/ac box for under the dash. No Glove Box insert. Door Panels need replaced. No Seat Belts. This was an AC Car but all the underhood AC parts were removed before we owned it. Doghouse was clean and solid when put in storage. I am sure it still is but again. until the penetrating oil works it's magic I have no underhood pics. tires and wheels stock ford 14" steel wheels with OLD tires that will need replaced. All tires hold air well. Brakes Pedal says disc brakes but car has drum all around. braking system is complete. but will need rebuilt. NEVER CUT AC DASH WITH CLOCK. PICTURE ADDED. NO DASH PAD. IT NEVER HAD ONE. THEY JUST CARPETED THE DASH. ONLY OTHER THING I CANT FIND (BUT I AM TRYING) IS THE FAN AND TEMPERATURE CONTROLS FOR UNDER THE DASH. I HAVE THE HEATER/AC BOX FOR UNDER DASH BUT NO DEFROST DUCTWORK. ALSO GOT HOOD OPEN WITH NO DAMAGE AND OILED EVERYTHING THOROUGHLY. CAN'T ADD UNDER HOOD PIC. I AM AT THE LIMIT FOR PICTURES.
