1969 Frod E 200 Custom converision raise top camper van, very rare, all original

Description for Ford E-Series Van 1969

1969 Ford E 200 Custom van conversion with EZ raise top. Rare and original. 1st let's get the drivability out of the way . this van has a 170 c. i. 6 cyl. engine that runs great and does not leak a drop of oil. the transmission works just as it should including the kick down. I have sold many older vehicles on ebay and try to be careful in my description of the units I sell. but really this van could be driven home to anywhere USA it runs and drives that good but it is a 1969 so expect it to drive just like a 1969 model with no power steering or power brakes ( neither does a Volkswagon though) So after checking out and making sure I had a good reliable van I decided to go all the way on the interior but leave the 46 year old patina paint alone. (I watered down the van with water to show if you want to clear coat or buff and wax) because once off that's it can't replace that real patina but it does look good shinning . the interior is brand new head to toe. the raise top is very easy to use just 2 hands and up it goes very easy. I put foam headliner material all thru the roof area it was aluminum . the front seats are out of a salvage custom van and recline. nbsp;rebuilt the top seals that close off the seal when up. redid all the cabinets and drawers ect with real wood veneer and then stained and clear coated . the seats were recovered and all the walls redone. carpet of course in new with new padding. also new subfloor. Door panels were build as they were just bare metal. Water system is hand pump basic and I am sure the refrigerator is bad ( used on ebay about $ 400. 00 . This is a water cooled 6 cyl with a great heater (not VWs) so I would compare this great van with the air cooled VWs . my reserve is well below what they want to those. this will do a better job going to the beach surfing. to the mountains camping. or to the kids ball games. great advertising van also for that old RV dealership ect. I have many more detailed pictures available upon request. Oh and under that carpet is a very rust free chassis. just a little minor rust that you can find in pictures.
