Description for Ford E-Series Van 1969

Auction is for a vintage 1969 Ford E250 Econoline cargo van. The body is in good condition. It has only minor surface rust underneath-I think it has always been a California vehicle. It has a salvage title but I don't think it has ever been in a serious accident-there's no sign of it. Van has a 300 cubic inch straight 6 engine that was recently bored 040 over and now has a displacement of about 312 cubic inches. The engine runs good-you're welcome to hear it run before bidding. The clutch is new. the windshield and windshield rubber are new. It has a new 3 row aluminum radiator. The 3 speed manual transmission is good (it has a steering column shifter). The brake shoes are like new. it has a new battery. a new 2600 cfm radiator fan (in addition to a mechanical fan from a Ford 390 truck engine). The windshield washers work and it has new wiper blades. The locks on all the doors work (and have keys). It has a full length roof rack (with lights that work on the front of the rack). The ceiling lights inside work. It comes with the original front seats which need upholstering and are not installed. The van needs repainting and need to have the interior finished. All the electrical works except the horn which I haven't looked into. The rear tires are good but the front tires need replacing. Van is currently registered and is sold "as is". Mileage on odometer exceeds odometer limit. Buyer must bring a trailer. A couple people have asked about driving it home. On this point I'm firm- DO NOT show up here expecting to do that. I don't want somebody working on it in my driveway or in the street next to my house. Bring a trailer!
