You are viewing my 1966 Ford F100 long bed with a frame off restoration. It was built with as many modern conveniences as possible to make it a pleasure to drive. not to just sit in the garage except for show weekends. All lights. gauges and etc work properly. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. Powertrain:* Chevrolet 350 v8* F. A. S. T. fuel injection with hand held tuner for you to easily make adjustments yourself as you wish. This system looks like and traditional carburetor. but offers the convenience and economy of EFI. * Edelbroc intake* Turbo 400 automatic transmission* Approximately 1. 50 miles on the whole powertrain* Spal 17" fanChassis:* Complete frame off build* Camaro front clip* stock frame under cab* custom boxed frame under bed* hidden receiver hitch behind license plate* hidden locking storage compartment under bed* fuel tank relocated to bed of truckBody:* louvered hood (Austin Speed Shop)* shaved door handles with door popper (Murpho's)* Vanilla Shake base paint* satin black scallops outlined in red* traditional pinstriping on hood. cab and tailgate* red metal flake over black roof cap* red metal flake over black wheels* There is a dent on the bottom of the passenger side tail pan (see pics). The truck used to be much lower and it drug there once. Stereo:* Custom Auto Sound head unit. There is a small control panel hidden in the glove box. plus a wireless remote control. The main head unit is hidden behind the seat. * USB and IPod connections* Alpine amplifier* JL Audio woofer behind the seat* Alpine speakers in the kick panels Miscelanious:* Vintage Air heat and A/C works great* tires are American Classic 820R15 with 3 1/4 in whitewall. I love these tires. They are actually radial tires with the improved ride and longevity. However. unlike other wide white wall radial. these are actually made to have the look and side profile of bias ply tires. * spider caps and trim rings* Texas 1966 plates will go with it if it is staying in Texas. * power brakes; disc in the front. drum in the rear. * tilt steering columnI'm in Austin. so come on down for Lonestar Roundup and take it home.
