1973 Ford F250 Camper Special. 42. 62 original California miles. one-owner. all original paint and interior. no accidents. with 390/2bl. automatic. A/C. ps. towing package. trans cooler and trailer brake. The truck has special ordered paint –Sequoia Brown Metallic with the Wimbledon White and factory installed auxiliary gas tank. Original dealer information. manuals and warranty card accompany sale. The truck was often in a shaded area of the backyard. but time has taken its toll on the paint. In generally very good condition. the sun has broken down the metallic brown. losing some of the shine it once had. A few small rust areas are visible. but just surface –no bubbling. or major damage anywhere! Many of the affected areas can be removed with a scuff-pad. or light sanding. including under the hood. Floor pans are great. as is the frame. The interior is also all original. with the exception of the radio. The aftermarket seat cover protects from some cracking in the vinyl. Headliner and other soft goods are excellent. including door panels. The dash pad is cracked. needing replacement. Purchased as a camping vehicle. the floor is covered with the utility rubber mat Ford offered. It too is very good condition. likely accepting a good cleaning for a near-new appearance. Mechanically. the drive train is great! Start it up and drive away. One exhaust leak is noticeable from #1 exhaust port. Considering the motor being a 2 barrel. power is good and torque as should be expected from a 390. Transmission shifts great; no rearend noise; brakes are solid. Exhaust does need replacement. Some underhood detailing and a nice paint job is all that is needed for a reliable. enjoyable truck. This Ford could be a quick fix-up. or the basis for an extremely easy frame-off restoration –everything is there from stainless. to sheet metal. to perfect glass.
