Description for Ford Mustang 1969

I purchased this mustang about 15 years ago in Niagara Falls. NY – it had around 43. 00 miles on the odometer. At that time. the car had been sitting and needed attention in order for it run properly. It had one repaint in the early 90’s and many of the engine components were chromed for “show”. The car was trailered to Wisconsin and gone through to make it road worthy. It was driven occasionally in the summer and received “mini” projects during the offseason. I finally decided to fix the oil leaks and make provisions for it to consume lead-free gas. The engine was pulled and sent out for a rebuild. This opportunity was also used to refresh the engine compartment and to make the car more ergonomic for the driver (more details below). This mini project was finished up a few years ago and I have enjoyed driving it ever since. Details DrivetrainEngine is rebuilt and has been driven for about 1500 miles. An aluminum PI intake paired with a factory Boss 302 service replacement carb has been used to upgrade the fuel intake system. This is all fed by a carter X fuel pump. The original intake. carb and 4441S fuel pump is included with the purchase. The exhaust has been upgraded with a set of FPA headers and full 2 ½” stainless steel exhaust with X-pipe. The original exhaust manifolds and H-pipe are included with the sale. A deep sump oil pan has also been added (original oil pan included) with blueprinted hi-volume oil pump. Heads have been upgraded to include harden seats and stainless steel valves. Original correct date coded parts were restored to complete this upgrade. The original drum brake setup. manual linkage and steering box are included with the sale. The radiator has been has been restored which involved a core replacement (original style). New correct style hoses with clamps have been added. New correct style shocks have been added at all four corners. Under the hood components such as the hood springs. hood latch. and spring perch were restored with the correct finish – zinc phos and oil (look as good as they did after finishing 5 years ago!). Comes with original valve covers that may be restorable. The electrical system under the hood has been gone through and cleaned up as needed. A new Autolite battery is used for power. Brakes: All new stainless steel brake lines. Fronts: Brake calipers are rebuilt originals. new pads. rotors and bearings. There is a small amount of rust at the seam where the floor pans meet the torque box on both sides. InteriorAll original except for carpet (comes with original carpet if you wish to have it). No cracks in the dash. small imperfection near the bottom of the drivers seat – looks to have been repaired at some earlier point in its life and is faintly noticeable.
