Description for Ford Mustang 1969
Condition: THIS CAR NOW RUNS !!! This Mustang is now running with NO PROBLEMS!!!!! The car sat in an enclosed carport for almost 30 years. Paint is faded; Interior-fairly good but some splitting at the seams of the upholstery on the driver's seat. The dashboard is cracked in the center from the heat but the upholstery is not faded as the car was not directly exposed to the sun. The body contains a few small. superficial rust spots but none that go all the way through. The after-market stick-on body molding needs to be removed with care. The carpet inside is original and in remarkably good condition. Features: This is not a muscle car. It is a 200 cub. in. straight six. completely original. The VIN number on the title matches the number on the car. My parents bought this car for fuel efficiency not speed. My mother drove IH-35 and IH-10 to work daily which accounts for the 62K miles on the car. History: My father. Henry A. Hunter. bought this car new from Gillespie Ford dealership in 1969. (See photo of title) Since the car was purchased for my mother and eventually given to me in 1983 we never bothered to have the title changed. Both of my parents have since passed away. I am now the legal owner. The car was involved in a minor fender bender in 1980 but the chassis is undamaged. The hood. grill and left front fender were replaced -- not repaired. I also have the original hood with a small dent and the repaired front fender. Since my first listing I have installed a new battery. plugs. points. condenser. rotor. fuel filter. fuel pump. air and oil filter changed the oil. flushed the radiator and gas tank. Shipping and payment: The buyer is responsible for transporting the car. The sale price is negotiable but will only increase as I continue to make improvements.
