1927 Ford Model T Runabouts were made with the extended body and larger "turtle" / trunk for a very short amount of time. Henry started making this body style in 1926 and for a few months in 1927 before shutting the plant down and retooling for the Model A. These bodies are getting very hard to find uncut. This one is uncut. I have gone through the car mechanically. As you can see in the picture. the motor has been rebuilt with . 60 over pistons. the heavy Magneto has been removed to lighten the flywheel and the ignition system has been converted to a distributor set up. New Starter. New Radiator. New Carburetor. Over $2K in upgrades and improvements mechanically. It drives and rides very well. Starts right up and drives straight. No "wandering" down the road. The body is in great shape. It has been coated with "Plasti-Dip". Very cool durable flat black. but if you want the original color (Green). simply peel the Plasti coating off in sheets. The car can be left the way it is. lowered for the speedster look. or you could find some fenders and turn it into an original Runabout.
