Piece of History 1948 Ford. Fat Fenderd Convertible. Drive this car with all its flwas and enjoy the thumbs up you get for cruising such a nostalgic look of classic patina. The Canvas top is shot and my wife says nobody would want a convertible car that the power top doesn't work. I told her to be quiet and listen to the radio. Then she points out to me that the while the radio may be an original wonder bar. it's not working. The antena isn't hooked up. no place for your racoon tail. The power top is disconnected so it goes up and down easily by hand. Top locks are good. It will keep the rain off in an emergency. (see photos)The paint is a 20 footer has some chips. the wheels need to be painted. Has good oil presure and the speedometer and even the clock works. She runs good stays cool and starts right up. it has good brakes. Needs new wiper blades but then again what would you need those for? It has a clear AZ title and if you like old Fat Fender convertbles maybe this one is for you. Recently rented to a movie studio. it would make a great "back drop" for some commercial work. I just reduced the price to 22. 00. About half of what one of these would sell for if completely restored. So if you have some cash burning a hole in your pocket. have recently been divorced (or want to be) and your not into just buying trailer queens. give me a call. I'll be glad to take you for a ride and seperate you from some of that loose change. But now I have added a 54 ford truck and a 39 Ford to my stable so. 22. 00 takes it. Be warned ahead of time if you decide to slap a set of dual glass packs. a new top and New Radial WW tires you will have a killer car worth a lot more than 22K. Cheers and thanks for looking.
