I am the second owner and can state that this car has 187. 94 ORIGINAL miles. I recently had installed: new spark plugs. fuel pump. fuel filter. and air filter. This car is in great shape and has sat for a little while. with a couple pumps of the pedal it starts right up. but loads up while trying to drive it. I believe it needs a carb cleaning. It also needs CV axles as they click when full turns are made. BODY CONDITION: For a 26 year old daily work car the body is fair with some dents. bumps. dings. but NO rust. The windows. doors. seats and all lights function normally. Manual steering is standard for the Festiva. The radio is in the vehicle. but the factory radio harness has been cut. ENGINE & MANUAL TRANSMISSION: Mileage is exactly 187. 94 miles. This is the original matched equipment. not a replacement. FYI. these engines are known to last over 250k before needing major rebuild work. This engine is carbureted. The manual transmission shifts smoothly and is quite quick to the axles. The 40mpg will be missed. EXHAUST: The muffler is good with a little rattle on higher idles. TIRES: Rims are solid and straight. The fronts are still new. BRAKES: The brakes works as they should.
