Description for Ford F-100 1970
No Reserve1970 Ford F100 Ranger XLTHard to find Original Classic FordThis truck is not a base model. but a Ranger XLT with the 360 V8. It even comes with factory AC and Power brakes. The Ranger XLT replaced the Custom Cab as the top trim level in 1970. The Ranger package had upgraded interior. Carpet. External tool/jack storage box. extra body side moldings. and two tone paint. The Mint green paint with White accents is in very good condition. and seems to mostly original. It does have some bumps in bruises in the body. but this and original survivor truck. We got this truck from an estate in southern California. so it has been in a rust free climate. and has seen little rain. We detailed the truck inside and out. plus put in factory style molded carpet and recovered the original seat. This truck will make a great weekend hauler. or perfect starting point for a full restoration. 1970's trucks are gaining in popularity and prices are going up quickly. The F100 was always a strong performer and very well built trucks. The 360 5. 9 V8 had a standard conservative 215 hp. and was rated at 5500lbs. The color combination of this truck is very desirable. and great looking from this period of time. It runs and drives down the road very good. and all the features seem to work. The AC system is all there. but the freon needs to be re-charged. it is a R12 system. and my ac machine wouldn't hook up to it. If you are truly looking for AC. I would upgrade it to R134. Please look at all the photos in detail. We are offering the truck at No Reserve. so if you are bidding. make sure you are ready to buy. You may inspect the truck prior to end of auctionIf you have any questions we are happy to assist. and help you in anyway. We can assist with worldwide shipping.
