Description for Ford Mustang 1994

Up for sale is a 1994 Ford Mustang Cobra Convertible Indy Pace Car Edition #426 of 1000 . The car overall is a pretty nice. but has a few things that need attention. Mechanically:The car runs very smooth. doesn't smoke and has plenty of power. The transmission shifts great and smoothly with no grinding or noises. The clutch pedal feels really nice and the clutch itself engages without any shuttering with no slipping. It has an aftermarket cold air intake and Magnaflow exhaust with chrome tips run out the back. Sounds pretty good without being too loud when cruising. The car rides really smooth with no rattles. it does pull a little to the right. The tires are in great shape with 50-75% tread left. It stops as it should with no squealing. There are no warning lights that stay on in the cluster and the odometer works as it should. The A/C needs recharged. Rear defroster does not work. Parking brake is inop. Heater. cruise control. and everything else on the car works as it should. I would trust this car to drive anywhere. Body: The paint overall still looks pretty good. I would give it a 7 out of 10. Still nice and shiny although it has some blemishes and stone chips here and there and someone has keyed or scratched the spoiler at some point. The decals are intact but have a couple of chips. The convertible top is probably a year or less old. but it looks like it wasn't installed properly in the rear and allows a little water to leak in. I would have like to got that taken care of. but we have no good upholstry shop close. The top motor works as it should and lets the top down and puts it back up with no issues. Wind noise is very minimal even at interstate speeds. There is some rust under the car that looks to me like can still be taken care of without any metal replacement. There is no rust on the body whatsoever and none under the car on the floor pans or trunk pan. The rust is mainly surface rust on parts of the frame rails. rear end housing and control arm brackets. The wheels look fair with some clear coat chipping with a few curb marks. The hood insulator has seen its better days and would be better off replaced or removed completely. Interior:The interior of the car is really nice. The seats are soft and comfortable. The drivers seat is still in great shape with minimal wear. The passenger seat looks great as well as does the back seat with the exception of a quarter sized spot on the seat bottom where the leather appears to be flaking off. All of the trim still looks good with the exception of the door pulls. The tabs that hold them into place have been broken off so that when you close the doors. if you aren't careful they may pull out. The radio works as it should although it has a slight buzz or hum that displays out of the speakers. I'm pretty sure it is related to the noise cancelling condenser for the ignition system. The windows all work as they should as does everything else on the interior including the power locks and seat. The steering wheel has a lot of wear on it. The carpet looks fine overall with the exception of a little discoloration in the drivers floorboard that would be covered by a floor mat. I reserve the right to end the auction early as it is listed for sale locally and cross posted on other sites. The car is being sold as is with no implied warranty. The title is clear. free of any liens. and was sent off last week to the department of finance and should be back to me within 3 weeks. I am trying to to do my best to represent the car correctly. however as I have looked this listing over several times. I am sure I may have missed something small.
