1989 Ford Mustang LXYou're bidding on a 1989 Ford Mustang LX. This car is super clean as seen from the pictures. The color is Chevrolet Torch Red that was painted two years ago. It does have a Cervini "Stalker" body kit and Saleen wing. It does need rear window trim. The paint is awesome with very minimal imperfections. This car you can get in and drive to the shows without problems. The interior is mostly stock out side of some interior pieces and new carpet kit. The flash light on top of the roof works which is really rare! The door on the arm rest also works perfectly! There is an ashtray on the back side of the console and it is in working condition. The hatch goes up and it stays up. There is one small cut in the driver seat but it is so small you cannot see it. The rear seats are in perfect shape. The battery was relocated and it comes with a stainless battery box. It has new speakers in the front and rear but does need an amp. The speakers are wired to the deck and the wires need to be connected to an amp. There are no holes drilled in the dash like all the other mustangs you see! I don't see putting in an aftermarket tach if the car has a factory one in the dash. The car also comes with the rear view mirror. The power windows work along with the gauges! The power seat also works well. The button for the gas tank is in working condition with no issues. The knobs for the AC work properly and the AC is ice cold!The suspension on this car is top of the line everything! It has QA1 eight way adjustable shocks front and rear along with QA1 tube upper/lower control arms with tube QA1 K member. The rear end is also completely built with an Auburn Locker with 4. 11 gears. C clip eliminator and 5 lug conversion. The car comes with sub frame connectors from Team Z Motorsports. This car has not been raced or beat up on because it doesn't have sub frame connectors. The car also comes with Torque Boxes from Latemodel Restorations. I do have the handles to fine tune the shocks so you can dial the car in. No expense was sparred when building this car and pictures prove that!The engine was built in Tucson. Z by Gary's Engine. It is a . 030 over stock block and crank. The heads are aluminum AFR 185cc. It has a comp cams xtreme energy cam part number 35-522-8. Its a hydraulic roller with an advertised duration of 282/290. The lift is . 565/. 574. The intake is Trick Flow with intake spacer with Trick Flow valve covers to match. The exhaust is full stainless with flowmaster cat backs. The car does pass emissions. The headers are coated and look awesome! The exhaust alone is $2. 00. The car has a Powerdyne Supercharger that is quiet. The AC components are brand new and works great! MSD 6AL box with MSD distributor. The car also has a separate oil filter. Injectors are 42. 5 with stock rails. It has an electric fan with aluminum radiator that is $800 from summit racing. The fuel is managed from a Megasquirt stand alone that is mounted underneath the passenger side seat. Plug in your lap top and tune for mild or tune for wild! Right now the car is on a basic tune that was set up to pass emissions. The car runs awesome and you can take your kids and wife and blast the AC! The car has 39. 43 miles on the chassis. The trip shows 546 miles which is how many miles is on the build. The transmission is a Ford AOD that shifts fine with a 3500 rpm torque converter. I do have a mikes transmission Ultimate AOD trans for an extra $700 if buyer wants it. just let me know if you're interested or not.
