1964 Ford Thunderbird LandauUp for bidding we have a 1964 Ford Thunderbird Landau. The car was in a barn since 1980 before I pulled it out. It runs and drives very good. It is a numbers matching car with no rot underneath. It has a 390 Big Block with 64000 original miles. It is a Landau edition which means it has a vinyl top from the factory. 25 extra hp (325hp total). and a slightly different interior. The following items are BRAND new on the car-Fuel Tank-Fuel Lines-Sending Unit-Holly 400 Carb-Brake Drums/Shoes-Brake Lines (Copper)-Brake Master Cylinder-Starter-Valve Cover Gaskets-Starter Solenoid-Fuel Pump-Plug Wires-Cap and Rotor/Points-Plugs-Fresh Oil Change and Coolant FlushThe car CAN be driven as it sits. However I am selling it as more of a project as it does need a few things to be perfect. The body is straight as an arrow with the only dent being on the trunk. However. it needs a paint job and some quarter panel work (unless you like the patina look). The rockers. floor. and uni-body are mint. The originality is attractive to me. so I kept it as is. All the trim is there Has a small exhaust manifold leak (NOT A KNOCK. NOT A TICK). Could use new mufflers. The power windows are finicky at times as well. The vinyl top was removed (the right way) because it was ripped. The top was then sanded. primed and painted white. The car is lowered with drop blocks and newer shocks in the rear (front is stock) on mustang wheels that are in decent shape with good front tires and shot back ones (they were on a drift car). Some interesting facts on the car. The A/C still blows cold. it is an original Power steering. power brakes. A/C car. The radio works and the steering wheel slides into place when you get in. I have tons of spare parts including the ORIGINAL hubcaps and carb. The car runs and drives nearly perfect and has A LOT of potential and is a huge head turner as it sits. The car speaks for itself.
