I purchased this from an old school hot rodder who just couldn't get in and out of it anymore. He purchased this from Cole Motorcycle shop in Hollywood California years ago. I also have the previous owners name who built this in the late 60s. but apparently he has passed away. This car was in the Oakland Hotrod show in the late 60s early 70s. It has $1000s invested and by today’s standards would cost you a fortune to build! Was in Power Tour Magazine back in the day. although I do not have that copy of the magazine. It is a hell of a lot of fun to drive and draws a crowd and thumbs up from everywhere! Perfect for cruising to local shows and car hang outs! Has clear California Title and registered at a 1929 Model T. does not need smog in California at least. Please see this video above for more information and if you have more question please call me at 949 2 8 5 – 8 0 1 1 This car was built in the late 60s by hot rodders back in the day. It has real 20s era Ford carbide headlamps with original brass headlight rings converted to bulbs. Tail lights are also original from the 20s converted. you can still see the original heat vents. It has a custom built and old school powder coated frame which explains why it is still in good shape. The frame and body were hand painted with real GOLD leaf and then clear coated This is a real 60s Tex Collins body. and it's in good shape overall. As you can see. there is 1000s worth of chromed suspension and trim pieces all over this car. chrome is all very nice. not pitted and has a good shine. Has suicide front end that has been raked out pretty good. Has disk brakes up front made by Wilwood and drum brakes in the rear. no power booster here. but could be added. Has late 60s custom brass radiator made for hot rods back then. You can't buy this stuff these days. Has chrome rear end which is believed to be a narrowed Pre-50s Pontiac rear end with 355 gear ratio. Oil pan and trans pan also chrome! Interior wise. it's all there as it was built. Still in good shape with minor wear and tear. Has digital gauges that were added sometime in the 80s. They work but the Speedometer. oil temp and fuel gauge do no read accurately. Tach does seem to work as well as the water temp gauge. Has chrome brake and gas pedals and B&M Ratchet shifter! Mechanically. the car has a 350 which previous owner could only guess what it came from exactly. The engine runs so well and sounds awesome with the giant headers/sidepipes. Has Keith Jackson gear drive so no timing chain and it has a nice whine to the engine. Has roller rockers and Iskendarian Racing Cam. Previous owner knew it was originally built with a Pontiac and then switched over to the current setup with a small block Chevy and estimates it at about 300hp (more than enough. trust me). Rear end is narrowed Pre 50s Pontiac with 355 gear ratio. Transmission is a Turbo 350 and shifts well with B&M Ratchet shifter. Has an old school Don Zig Magneto and plenty of steel braided lines all around the car. Rear springs are said to be from an old Corvair and front spring is original stuff! The car has a newer Edelbrock 650 with mechanical secondarys and tunnel ram intake with Holley intake manifold. Recently we replaced the starter gear and did some re freshening. But overall it didn't need much to make it go. Overall. the car is a very cool piece of history in my opinion. lot's of fun to drive! Please see my video where I do a video description walk around and take a test ride then give me a call if you have further questions.
