Texas family in the mid 1970s when it was given to their daughter who drive the car through High School. College. and adulthood until parking it in her father's garage where the current owner was fortunate enough to locate it. purchase it. and restore it to its beautiful condition today. According to the original family. the car was never wrecked or molested in any way. This car retains its original sheetmetal including the rust free quarter panels and fenders. An engine malfunction motivated the family to completely rebuilt the engine and drivetrain in 1996 including all new components. Fortunately. the owner's saved the original breather. valve covers. carburetor. and other hard to find early components. The exterior showcases the stunning Wimbleton White paint. again done by HCC Performance. The paint and body are in excellent condition as is the brightwork through this Mustang. Plain Jane hubcaps were passed over in favor of these 14-inch styled steel Mustang wheels with B. F. Goodrich Silvertown Dual Redline radial tires all around for a proper drive. The Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum is the location for many of our photos. We would like to thank the Flight Museum for allowing us to photograph our classic cars with their vintage aviation displays. Be sure to visit the Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas. Texas. The 289 "D" code engine is factory rated at 210 horsepower. Much attention to detail was spent throughout this car. especially the engine compartment. The engine compartment shows exceptionally well throughout this car. correct down to the radiator clamps. breather. valve covers. etc. The firewall. inner fenders. and core support steel is in great shape.
