A one of a kind custom built award winning Crew Cab p/u. The body. made by a private builder. s an average of 1/4" thick fiberglass. Super strong construction and attention to saftey and detail were paramount throughout this build. Cab is made up of outer and inner fiberglass shells with a minium of 2 inches of structural foam between them for superb strenth and sound absorption. There is also a steel roll cage incased within the outer and inner fiberglass shells. This roll cage surrounds the driver. Seats. doors. point seatbelts. and all under dash components are bolted directly to this steel cage. Doors hang on Hagen Hidden Hinges. Suicide style. Hinges are bolted to a super strong steel structure within the doors. Handles are shaved and doors open electronically by remote with a hidden cable back-up. Doors also have suicide door saftey pins. controlled both electronically and manually. for added safety. Drip rails are shaved and redesigned. and rear quarter windows have been added. The firewall of is one of a kind and completly clean and custom. The hood is a 3 piece Rootleib with side louvers. Hood opens from either side. or lifts off with the Hagen hidden hinge hood latches. Hood is supported with custom made steel bracing. The p/u box is a Steel Pro's box and tailgate with hidden latches. The floor of the bed is solid oak with a polished outdoor polyurethane finish. Oak is held down w/ custom 1/4 " thick stainless steel bed strips and flush cap screws. The rear is finished w/ a custom made. uper strong fiberglass roll pan w/built in reverse lights and license plate lamp. The fenders. running boards. and grill shell are seamless. This one piece design gives a smooth look that is beautiful. The fenders and running boards are extra thick with strong steel bracing underneath. The grill is custom made from 1/8" x 1/2" chromed steel. not thin rod. This makes it very beautiful and very strong. The entire underside of the body and fenders have been sprayed with a professional truck bed liner for added durability. beauty. and sound absorption. There is no exposed fiberglass under this truck. Paint is 2 tone. red and silver. clear coat inside and out. Interior: Fiberglass interior with silver clearcoat finish. Custom interior with fabric headliner panel. Custom dash includes new gauges. an Ididit tilt steering column with an aluminum and leather steering wheel. Column Shift. Dodge Dakota Bucket seats with 3 point seatbelts. all bolted directly to steel cage under the fiberglass shell. 4 speaker Kenwood stereo system with CD player. Rod door panels. Electric windows and suicide door safety pins. Heat and air conditioning with built in defrost. Behind the seats is a compartment that holds the Optima spiral wound battery. as well as. a lockable storage compartment. Dual electric wipers with delay. Tinted safety glass. Very comfortable. quiet interior. Frame: The frame is a new. jig built. fully boxed 35 Ford pickup frame. professionally stretched 14. 5 inches. The frame rails and cross member were manufactured by Chassis Engineering and jig welded and stretched by nationally known street rod builder. John Heinzman Street Rods. Frame is completely smooth and painted black. Front end is Heidt's II mustang front end with independent suspension and Wilwood disk brakes. Rearend is Ford 8" with drum brakes and 2. 79 gears. Rear suspension is leaf springs. front is coil. All brakes are power. as is the rack and pinion steering. Wheels are polished aluminum with Falken ZE-512 Ziex tires. 225/60R15 in the rear. and 205/60R15 in front. Engine and Transmission: Engine is a 350ci 350hp V-8. Professionally built by Golen Engines. this engine is fully rebuilt with top of the line components. A 600cfm Performer series carburator sits on a polished aluminum intake manifold. Valve covers. air cleaner. and other accessories are matched flame engraved aluminum. and all hoses are covered in stainless hose covering. Also. has chromed headers Equipped with a high-torque gear drive starter. This is one beautiful engine compartment. All wires and hoses run into the cab from underneath. which leaves the custom firewall free of any clutter. Air conditioning pump is polished aluminum. and the alternator is chromed aluminum. The engine is cooled by a new Walker radiator connected to the engine with chromed. super durable flexhose. Transmission is an automatic 700R4 overdrive transmission that has been professionally rebuilt. Transmission has 2300 rpm Stall Converter. This truck has far too many features to list.
