Please look carefully through our detailed photos. The paint has a number of scratches and chips. showing general age. There is a minimum of rust. this is an overall very solid car. Again. please look closely through our photographs. I have included several close-up pictures of some more prominent damage. The chromed bumpers still show well front to back. albeit with some patina. The factory brightwork is intact throughout this Thunderbird. The original trim identification plate is intact and legible. This is a factory Raven Black car with Red Vinyl Interior and 3. 00 rear end gearing. originally ordered to an Ohio dealership. The red vinyl upholstery shows well front to back as does the dash and center console. The old cassette stereo is not functional. The steering wheel is original. The rim blow horn is mostly functional. The horn button is showing its age. The speedometer is functional but registering fast. The air conditioning system is not working and will need repair. although in the recent past the compressor has been replaced with a modern unit. The door panels are in good condition. Further inspection of the engine compartment will reveal original sheetmetal throughout the firewall. inner fenders. and core support. The 390 4bbl. V8 runs strong and is paired with the 3-speed automatic transmission. The undercarriage displays good solid flooring throughout. The front and rear suspension look to be in good condition as well. The engine. transmission. and differential are intact with no major leaks evident. This will be a good car to drive and enjoy. Some fixes and paint can bring this '65 Thunderbird to a new level.
