Truck was restored in 2008 by current owner. Only work done by others was; having metal dipped prior to body work. chroming a few small parts. having seat recovered. Motor was rebuilt by the prior owner and he had installed new tires. Original metal body parts include; everything from the cab forward. New metal includes; running boards. bed and tail gate. Rear fenders are fiberglass. Upgrades include; power front disc breaks. modern design water pumps in motor. converted to 12 volts with original style 12 volt alternator. new wiring harness through out. new chrome except for the hood release which was rechromed. New aftermarket heater. new VDO gauges New interior trim and seat cover. Bed wood is pecan from a 130 year old tree. Also included with truck purchase is oak wood that came with the bed kid and extra bed rails. Paint does have a few small bad places. mainly around bolts in the running boards on some of the bolts. Truck runs fine. sitting on new 16/20 original type tires. Truck has won several top 100 awards in local car shows including best truck in a small show back in 2010.
