1991 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Convertible (manual) in outstanding shape. 39,XXX original miles, ever raced, ust used as a Sunday cruiser. Under the hood is nearly perfect and mostly unmodified. Car is 95% stock. Tires and rims are about 2 years old (~10K miles). Top is in perfect shape. Interior is in excellent shape and is original. The leather has some wear because it has never been replaced, ut I decided to leave it original. Only mods are cold air intake, lowmaster exhaust and midpipe, poiler, tereo and speakers, .73 gears, nd light bar. Car drives perfect and 6 months ago just had brand new clutch and cable installed. I took off the intake plate, anded, aped, nd re-painted (looks great) to original specs.
There are 2 minor issues that I haven't got around to fixing:
1. The driver's side rear quarter panel window sits up 1.5" when put down all the way. Easy fix, ut I haven't had time. All the parts in the windows are fine - I tried to adjust the window to fix it but didn't have a second set of hands so I left it.
2. There is a ticking noise under the car when I drive it. It occurs every once in a while, ut I have no idea what it is. I am fairly certain it has nothing to do with the drivetrain, ut can't tell for certain. Occurs when slowing down, hen driving, n any gear, tc. There is nothing specific that produces the sound, nd the couple of shops that looked at it said that it wasn't anything to be concerned with.
New BBK catted H-Pipe installed 4/22
New KONI rear shocks installed 4/22
Subframe connectors installed on 5/4 ($350 with parts/labor).
Lots of paperwork and maintenance receipts. Original radio, op boot and cover, riginal manual (even have the gas receipt from the first fillup), nd original ring and pinion, ill be included in the auction.
The ashtray works perfectly. A/C is cold... Just put in a new battery 4 months ago.
If you are looking for a clean Mustang, his is it. I don't want to part with it, ut I would really like to have a clean hatchback. Please come by and take a look/test drive.
