Description for Ford F-100 1974
1974 F100. I am located in Metro Detroit Suburb. I prefer local pick up if at all possible. Explorer package. a/c. 360 automatic c6 and 9" rearend. Originally from oklahoma. Original paint. engine trans ect. It is in real good running driving condition and is not new. its used. and its used daily until It is sold. with parts going in and out of the back. Has a few spots on body. the underside and is very rust free at all the body seams and corners. Has a few dents and dings. Windshield is cracked. radio does not work. All A/C is there and connected I have not tried to use it. I am a windows down guy and have not even tried to charge it. Interior is super clean. seat is covered and is worn through but not broken down - hence seat cover. Its a pain to remove and install so I am not posting photos of it. New exhaust. Runs good and drives easy. It runs on propane. Yeah propane! it has a commercial propane conversion for $800 bucks (not including install cost). Nope its not less powerful. Forklifts have no problem with it. The conversion really works awesome. There are some great advantages if you have never run propane. It always starts up easy and doesnt stall. if it does it starts right back up. no fouling plugs. Idles easy. Works out to paying a little less that the cost of regular gas. its pretty cool though. If it just does not sound right even better reason to check it out. I was skeptical and curious and after I tried one on propane I was hooked. Original carb included if you want to take it back to regular gas. It would take less than a couple hours to put it back to gasoline. 70k miles. Box A title. I am technically the 3rd owner. Driven and used daily as my shop truck. Its a great old ford. gets tons of attention and complements. Its a real truck. its still does work. It is originally from Oklahoma. Then it traveled to Arizona. That is where I bought it and now use it as my shop truck. I am relocating out west this fall. This stays. I would be willing to sell it for less without the aluminum wheels/new tires and include some white wagon wheels on it before these. $4200 with the wagon wheels. I do not want to ship it simply because i would like to meet the next owner in person and let them buy it being satisfied with it in person. If you will not just come pick it up in person and pay cash which is just easiest. then a bank to bank transfer is the safest. I am not accepting paypal for payment or checks or money orders. cash or bank transer from my bank to yours. I will ad more here as I think of it and some pics of the underside and bed. Please ask any questions and your welcome to come check it out. Thanks!
