DESCRIPTION:

This is our own vehicle. It is a 1966 F 100 Pick up truck (see photos). This item is in running condition with a good engine and transmission (see photos). The truck has some wear from age and use with some rust and it needs brakes and a truck bed (see photos).

Here is what I know about the truck:We bought this truck over 1 year ago. We have driven it around town and planned to use it as an advertising vehicle for our Antiques Store. Now with far too many vehicles we have decided to sell it.Positives:Running Engine (6 Cylinder: I am not sure of the CI Engine size so view the photos).Working Transmission.Replaced and rewired Brake Lights and Turn Signals.New AlternatorNew Ignition CoilNew Battery CablesNew StarterNew SolenoidNew Ignition SwitchNew Gas TankNew Gas Tank Fuel Level Sending UnitRebuilt 1 Barrel CarburetorFOUR New Firestone Destination Tires with less than 50 Miles on themWe have purchased some new Brake Lines New Wheel cylinders and a New Master Cylinder (need to be installed)Original Seat Upholstery is in pretty good condition.We have put about $1200.00 +/- into the truck since we purchased it to make it a good and safe running vehicle. ________________________Negatives:Needs Gaskets for the doors and WindowsNeeds Exhaust and Muffler (I was going to Put Headers on). The door Handle does not work on the drivers side from the outside (works fine from the inside).The windshield has a crack in it.The dash is metal and clean but some models I have seen online have a padded dashIt needs a new bed for the back of the pick up. There is no bed in there nowThe brakes are not connected and I was planning on redoing all lines master cylinder wheel cylinders and emergency brake cables but I lost interest and never completed them (many parts included see above section)The Step Side bed may not be original.We installed a new ignition switch but it sticks a bit and you have to manually turn the key back a bit after starting the truckThe emblem on the front of the truck hood is for an 8 Cylinder Truck and the engine which looks to be original to me is a 6 cylinder engine. Some Rust but basically a very sound solid truck for it's age. This truck I believe spent it's life in Tennessee on a farm according to the old man I bought the truck from. I have a clear and clean Florida Title in hand for this truck. This is a good truck and will make a nice addition to your garage. The mileage recorder on my Title is Exempt as it was over 100000 Miles. I require a $1000.00 deposit to purchase the truck through PayPal. The deposit is non refundable.
