Description for Ford Mustang 1966

Exterior:

The entire exterior of this car was professionally redone approximately 6 years ago. The paint is Hot Rod black (not primer) with ghost stripes (very hard to see unless the car is wet). The stance is impressive lowered on 17” American Racing wheels w/ rolled fenders (no rubbing). This car is extremely straight and only has a few blemishes. One blemish on the right front fender (see picture hard to see very minor) there is a chip in the paint behind the passenger side window (see picture) there is a chip on the trunk lid directly above the gas cap (see picture) and a small crack where the front bumper is molded to left front fender (see picture). The hood fitment is slightly off all other panels have great fitment and doors shut excellent. I am slightly over describing everything just want the buyer to know everything that I would want to know. The overall condition of the exterior is excellent.

Interior:

The interior is very presentable the way it is very minor stain on passenger seat (see picture) the rear half of the headliner could be replaced (see picture) but the front half is in great shape. Overall the interior is in good condition. The fuel gauge works the speedometer does not (actual mileage is unknown). The aftermarket temp. and oil pressure gauges work as well.

Undercarriage:

The undercarriage of this car is very impressive (see pictures) and has no rust. A lot of time and money was spent bringing this car to the condition it is in.

Drivetrain:

The 302ci engine runs excellent always starts right up and sounds mean. I do not have a build sheet or any detailed information on the engine but I do know it runs great and definitely sets you back in the seat a bit. Thereare some areas of normal oil seepage nothing major that requires repair and nothing uncharacteristic of a vehicle this age.The car has headers and an H-pipe with Flowmaster mufflers. The 4 speed transmission shifts as it should the clutch works fine the way it is but needs to be all the way to the floor in order to shift properly. Occasionally the clutch will “chatter” if you slip it but not always. There is also an occasional vibration while driving down the road (nothing that makes the car un-drivable) that goes away if you press and release the clutch pedal a few times (not sure what the cause is never bothered me enough to look into it further). Manual steering and manual drum brakes.
