Description for Ford Galaxie 1966

74K miles

390 Rebuilt by Texas Thunder in McKinney Engine was rebuilt several years ago when the previous owner had the car. It has had very few miles since the rebuild because the car went into storage. It runs very nicely no smoke no leaks. I have pulled a valve cover and it is very clean just like you'd expect a new engine to look. It has an Edelbrock SP-2P 390 intake manifold and Autolite carburetor that we rebuilt in the last year. I do not have the original intake. Car was originally a 352 4bbl.

FMX 3spd Auto shifts and performs great. I'm not sure if the previous owner had it rebuilt but it looks and works like it has been.

Scarebird front disc conversion w/ slotted rotors

Mustang 5 spoke wheels with Pirelli tires. Late model wheels with correct bolt on spacers.

Factory power steering Works great

Factory A/C (missing condenser and a hose to be complete). Aside from the missing parts it looks to be in good shape compressor turns freely.

Power top and it works!

New white vinyl interior Done in the previous owners care nice job some small spots need re-gluing but no holes tears or anything other than simple repairs won't fix.

New convertible top Done about a month ago by Ray's Trim in Garland Tx. Correct Factory color.

New gas tank

New carpet

New door weatherstrip

New dual exhaust done in previous owners care.

Rebuilt carburetor done about a year ago.

Re-sprayed Arcadian blue.

Car is a great cruiser. We have not had the chance to use it much though. We got it in a trade a couple years ago. It came to use with the new interior rebuilt engine rebuilt? trans brakes and wheels and tires on it. The front sheet metal was disassembled. We put it back together. and made it a running driving car. There were some paint issues so they were fixed and the whole car was re-sprayed after we got it together. It was not a show car paintjob there are some dings and blems that did not get fixed but it is a great driver quality paint job. It has not been buffed and could look even better. It is a nearly rust free car. there are just a few small spots in the rear floorboard. There are some missing emblems like the 1/4 "500" emblems and a few letter missing from the 1/4 script. Car comes with a bunch of spares and extras. Wheel opening trim is in the trunk but a couple pieces are pretty rough.
