Description for Ford Mustang 1965
1965 Mustang Convertible equipped with a 289 V8 and Automatic Transmission. Red Exterior with Black Interior and a Black Soft Top. Features include Power Soft Top Power Steering Power Brakes AM Radio with 5-lug Magnum 500 steel wheels wrapped in modern radial tires. The car was restored several years ago and purchased from the builder; car is an original V8 “C”-code car. Motor is a period correct 289 2V motor I can’t confirm that it is the “Born-with” motor. It starts and runs out nicely with the factory induction setup and air cleaner. Transmission is a C4 automatic shifts with no issues. The rear end is the factory Ford 8” unit the car drives as though it has a 3.25 or 3.50 gear ratio but I cannot confirm as they were already installed when I purchased the car. The car stops with assistance from power assisted drum brakes. Power steering which was added later in the cars life makes driving much easier than the manual steering the car was originally equipped with. The car runs and drives out nicely. There is no rust on the car that I can see. The body was painted a beautiful shade or red and a new black soft top was professionally installed. Most of the exterior trim was replaced when the car was painted including bumpers door handles etc. The interior is black standard bucket seats with standard gauges factory AM radio and a new black steering wheel and trim. The car was built to drive and enjoy not as a trailer queen. It turns heads and gets a lot of attention anytime you take it out! Like most older cars it needs a few tweaks that I just don’t have the time to address the shift selector needs to be adjusted and the rear quarter windows need new rollers installed to function properly. The cars original VIN stamping remains intact in the front driver’s side fender apron. The car has a clear title and currently shows xxxxxx miles (Insert miles here) on the odometer. Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the listing at any time. Buyer is responsible for all shipping I have contacts for shipping WORLDWIDE as well. $500 non-refundable deposit due within 48 of end of auction. Remainder due within 7 days. Cash Certified Funds or Bank Wire Transfer accepted.
