1965 Ford Mustang Fastback Shelby GT350 Eleanore Fully restored, restine condition 3rd Gear Garage presents to you a 100% restored numbers matching 1965 “C” code Mustang Fastback. This car has been restored to the specs of the GT350 Shelby. This car was roadworthy but needed some serious attention. Being that we found the car rust free made it a perfect candidate for the full treatment. Minimal body work was needed after being completely stripped to the metal and was refinished in factory Ford Sterling Gray Metallic along with painted stripes.
Every piece of trim and exterior light has been replaced with Scott Drake parts for a clean fresh look. The inside has been completely redone with all new TMI sport interior parts including upgraded bolster style seats, oor cards headliner, nstrument panel and center console. Mechanically this car is absolutely perfect! With all new steering and suspension components this car handles better than Ford ever expected. Sway bar bushings, ie rods, ontrol arms, pring, hocks ect..... all new and no expense was spared for quality parts. The Wheels and tires also have been upgraded to 17 inch Coy Wheels with a fresh set of Toyo Proxies 4 rubber. The Brakes have been also upgraded to disc for much more reliable braking. Needless to say this car brakes and handles like a dream. You can comfortably accelerate into turns and also Brake into turns without the car getting out of shape compremising safety.
The engine has been refreshed and Edlebrock Performance parts were added as a matching package that includes, treet aluminum heads, ggressive camshaft, .6 roller rockers, delbrock intake, ew carb and radiator. A Strut tower brace and Monte Carlo bar were also added to strengthen the front end and its extremely noticable and tight. This car makes zero noises under the hood or on the road. Drives like a dream and handles better than you may think.
