Description for Geo Metro 1992

Sorry for relisting to all the watchers! I had to go out of town for an emergency and would not have been available until after the listing had ended. This makes it easier for me to make sure everything is in good order with the car before sale and I'm not rushed to answer any questions this week. Thanks for understanding!--Hello! This is unfortunate but I have to pay for my last semesters of college and unfortunately have to sell my little car. This car has been treated VERY well. We bought it with the engine blown everything a wreck. I've spent a bit of time tracking down the interior plastic and we've fully repaired the engine. It has around 10k on the engine. I used it to commute to school when I was going a little farther away pretty much all highway.New

Headlights are the original geo metro glass squares with headlight doors. I still have the old conv style ones but they have been sitting outside / were foggy so I replaced.Issues:Car has rust on the floor pans. We cut out and welded new metal on driver's side. Passenger side still has a hole up at the very front but it was cleaned and coated. It's easily covered with a floor mat. Some rust on front brace bar by front bumper as well. We cleaned and coated this also.Coolant leak started in winter we were told that it was likely the O-ring on the water pump. Have not replaced. Did not leak through summer.Does not have carpet. We removed all of it to attend to rust. Interior will have a fresh coat of paint this week.Pretty much 90% of the interior pieces are there. May be missing a couple small things but overall I got everything for the back pieces and the convertible boot.Assembly required on the wings. The person we bought them from had them held together with liquid nail. It's since broken so the wings are not attached. Screw holes are probably not very good anymore (hence why he probably used the LN) --Would be easy to drill and make holes through and a coverplate or enlarge the holes on metal and wing plastic. However suits you.Clips where the convertible top attaches---at least one is cracked. It still functions though. We were just careful and never did any extra damage.Window seals are old. They do leak some. To be expected with this kind of car.No A/C. I believe it's there we took the belt off though. Don't believe it worked but I didn't want it anyways. It's a convertible! Two small tears in driver's seat.No muffler.New front brake pads and rotors not installed. One lug came off a tire when trying to replace have that part as well.Cleaned and put primer on rust spots before winter. Will likely touch up before sale. Has sat through winter and spring. Started right up last week. Will drive it around a little this week to be sure it's road worthy.Otherwise I pulled 30 mpg solid out of this little automatic winter and summer. I got 40mpg on a long highway drive.Never took it over 3100 rpm it will blow the small engine. (~55-60mph)It's pretty quick though! Starts well but sometimes will just "click" instead of getting the starter going. This is rare but has happened a couple times. We never figured out why. It's a great little car. Engine is solid body isn't terrible; you never know what you're getting with these.I'll be honest feel free to ask ANY questions. I'll answer to the best of my ability provide extra photos or videos on request.Pictures are current. Car is sold as-is. Message for phone number to talk futher or to come see/drive it.Anyone interested in seeing the car will have to be after Tuesday the 26th. I cannot meet that Thursday.
