Up for sale is one 1986 GMC Sierra C1500 pickup truck in great condition. This is a unique truck in a condition that is hard to find. This truck has been passed between friends and family. Because of privacy concerns, will not list their names, ut the original owner lived in Watkinsville, A and used the truck primarily on his farm. The second owner was an acquaintance of the 1st owner and asked to purchase the truck if he ever decided to "upgrade" and in 1998 purchased it as a weekend vehicle to pull his small boat to the lake. My father was close friends with the 2nd owner and participated in a local HAM radio club. My father told him that if he ever wanted to sell it, lease let him know. Upon receiving bad new about his health, e sold the truck to my father in 2008, nd then lastly, purchased it in 2013 when my father was needing money for a vacation with my mom.
This is a rare find if you're looking for 30 year old classic GMC truck. (Most of them are usually rusted up and in poor running condition)
This is the 4th generation truck that GMC made between the years 1973 through 1987. Of course, here were subtle changes over the years, ut the biggest came in 1981 with improvements in the overall design.
The truck comes with the stock 305 cubic inch V8 motor with the TH700R4 four-speed transmission with Overdrive. The current odometer reading is 75,804 as shown in the pictures. My father and I have spent a lot of money restoring the truck to the condition you'll notice in the pictures. However, he A/C needs to be serviced. The heater and blower works fine, ut it just doesn't get the air cold. The truck produces a little smoke at start up, ut quits after the engine starts. This is common with cars and trucks of this period. The truck is in great condition cosmetically, ut it does have some blemishes.
Overall, he trucks runs and drives smoothly. I hope you'll check it out in person.

The truck is located in Commerce, A and if you're the winning buyer, e can setup time to meet at a local business or the county DMV... whichever you prefer. Of course, f you prefer not to pickup the truck in person, Bay offers many automotive transport options. Shipping the truck and shipping insurance is the buyer's responsibility. PAYMENT is due before the truck is picked up. I accept PAYPAL or Cash on delivery. The PayPal must be transferred and cleared before I will sign over the title, rovide a bill of sale, r release the vehicle. I will NOT accept personal or cashier's checks!
