This is a restored 1970 GMC 1500 Long Bed. Three Speed in the Column Truck in great condition! Has a newly installed Straight 6 250 HP GM Engine and 3 speed in the tree manual transmission. This GMC is running perfectly with no rust damage or problems with transmission & engine. It is GM Blue with white cab top. black leather seats and carpet. black. blue and white interior trim. Has 141. 00 K original miles on truck but around 70. 00 K miles on new engine we installed. This truck is ready for an everyday trustworthy vehicle. or doing minor extras for showroom status. Original engine and transmission comes with truck if needed for parts or to rebuild. Below are the descriptions of items completed on the entire truck. INTERIOR New black carpet. New black leather bench/bucket seats with arm rest. New AM/FM radio with AUX plug-in. New cigarette lighter. New column shifter and blinker switch. Original GMC steering wheel. New inner wiring and all parts for steering wheel. New horn and wiring. New cluster dash panel. New Temperature Gauge and wiring. New window roll up (inside guts) parts for passenger and driver doors. New window/door seals for passenger and driver doors. New head lamp. New Upper dash pad. New Heater Duck and grills. New Heater switches and cables. New gas. brake. & clutch pedals. New under dash electrical wiring. New under dash (blue) lights to aluminate floor. EXTERIOR New lights all the way around. New tires and wheels. Has original drum brakes. Has original single exhaust. Body is in good shape. Has paint job from about 5 years ago that is still in good shape. For showroom quality. may need to repaint. All original emblems. ENGINE Installed a new 1972 GM straight 6 engine with 250 HP. Old engine we took out was a straight 6 as well but had a rod that was going out. New engine has approximately 70K on it. This is a great. strong engine! We replaced and installed new motor mounts. distributor cap and coil. rebuilt carburetor. new carb gaskets. original refurbished cold intake. new exhaust manifold gaskets. new valve cover gaskets. new starter. new wiring and wiring protective wrap to all components. New battery and battery cables. New radiator with new overflow tank. New hoses. New heater coil. New thermostat with new water temperature gauge. To oil leaks or exhaust leaks! TRANSMISION Replaced and installed an original 1972 3 speed manual transmission. Is a 3 in the Tree transmission with refurbished and readjusted linkages to column. The owner before had the shifter in the floor. It was poorly installed and did not work correctly. Moved it back to column with new parts. Old transmission is in ok shape. but as we replaced the engine. we purchased this transmission knowing it was in better shape. No Leaks! EXTRAS TO BE DONE The only items that could be done depending on preference would be installing aftermarket power steering. AC kit. disk break conversion from drum breaks. and new paint job (if you want showroom status)
